The idea for Dan’s Steaks came about during Phase 1 of Singapore’s Circuit Breaker period. Back then when everyone was at home, Dan prepared steaks to be delivered to his friends and family. It was meant to be a friends-and-family only affair but word started spreading on how delicious these steaks were…

And soon, Dan had people DM-ing him on Instagram and Facebook, asking if they could order his steaks. These large 1.2kg cuts of steak, sous vide then seared to perfection, complemented with made-from-scratch sides and condiments, became a fast hit — selling out daily. It even got to a point where there would be a one-month waitlist. When it was Phase 2 of the Circuit Breaker, Dan stopped the endeavour and he received hundreds of messages expressing their disappointment — asking that he start a restaurant so he could continue to sear and deliver his steaks.

And so here we are.
